Dance now at Calico Kids & CK Studios with the best teachers and students in the Metroplex.
Dance includes: Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip/Hop, Ballroom and Lyrical. Now in our 39th year
of continuous operation, we are a one-stop shop for performing arts and art sports classes.
Calico Kids & CK Studios has the best way to get in your sports and recreation. Use dance &
art sports as a great way to get exercise and have fun while keeping fit. We teach 18 mos.
tots, kids, teens and adults, for fun classes, train champions, coach professional performers
who dance, twirl, sing, act, do gymnastics, and karate. Our theater classes are great! Our
recitals get rave reviews.....even from the dads!!
All of the dance and art/sports subjects aid in motor skills development, and help
develop eye-foot and eye-hand coordination. They also make the student more agile
for sports. Along with acting, voice & music, they develop self confidence, self
discipline, sportsmanship and rhythm along with the ability to learn, memorize and
make the mind more alert for academics. They make the student more poised when presenting
themselves before others, whether speaking or performing. Unless otherwise indicated,
ages for all subjects is 2 1/2 through adult. All girls except voice, acting, music
and karate, wear red leotard and Lt. toast tights. Ballet wears theatrical pink tights
and gymnastics wear no tights or shoes. All wear Calico Kids shirts & shorts in and out
of the studio. Boys wear this for all classes except voice, acting, music & karate. All
are sold in pro shop at Calico Kids.

Studio Rules
- Hair must be fastened securely and out of eyes for all classes.
- No chewing gum in class, at rehearsal or at performances.
- Calico Kids shirt and shorts must be worn over leotards coming in and
out of the studio and in audience at shows or over recital costumes.
- Class sizes depend on the level. Our very experienced staff can handle
with ease a small or large class. There must be 8 registered for class to materialize.
- Visitors are invited to watch class periodically and must remain absolutely quiet
and keep other children in their lap or seated beside them while observing.
